~Happy Thanksgiving~

I know some of the Boss Chics were up at 2 a.m. doing whatever it was they needed to do, be it, work, leaving a party or family members, attempting to get that beauty sleep, taking care of  "business" yeah u know what kind at 2 a.m. ha ha, or standing in line for the Black Friday Sales! Whatever was floating your boat today I hope you remembered to give Thanks for the day before and all through the weekend. Everyday for that matter, but particularly this weekend.  See, there are some Boss Chics who are making sacrifices right now to one day reap the benefits of relaxing and shopping, and I want to SALUTE them as well as the Boss Chics who are enjoying their weekend! We have a lot to be thankful for, minus the materials/stereotypes that are advertised during this week! But remember that what's really important, is all the things that you do have. Real Success, is being humble with what you already have and not focusing on the have nots.

Me, myself, I'm thankful for life, because somebody that was around last year, isn't this year. I'm thankful for my friends, because they happen to be some of the most *positive* people in my life, and they encourage me so much. I'm thankful for my job, even though, its part time and it barely pays the bill, I'm a BOSS, I make it work for me, and so many people are *struggling* to find one.  I'm thankful for my FAMILY, so many families are dysfunctional, and discouraging, but I happen to have a GREAT one, even though they are still dysfunctional.  When it comes down to it, if I need them, they are there. I'm thankful for my MAN! Gosh, Boss Chics, if you are blessed with a man, that will do anything to take care of you and your family, be thankful. There are so many *CHICKS* (Lesson: Chic= Classy...Chick= Chickens) who want a sample of that, so this weekend, just be thankful, we will deal with his mess on a later date. :)  And I am THANKFUL that GOD gave us a SON that DIED for our sins. This is so overlooked by most people that they don't even consider how much of a sacrifice that is.  We can barely sacrifice a soda for a day. Can you IMAGINE what all he has done in our life?

So this post is saluting those who are blessed enough to go out and have a good time this weekend. But for the ones who are out making sacrifices, or seem like you are at a point where your *BOSS* tank is on empty, Give THANKS anyway! Look Around! WE LOVE YOU! We see you trying and we are thankful that you get to live to see another day! Also, take the time this weekend and be of service to someone. Call somebody you haven't called in a long time, smile at someone, offer a compliment! I guarantee they will be thankful for it.

Be Safe, Enjoy yourself, No drinking and driving, Protect Yourself, Cherish Every Moment, Enjoy the meal that I know you are thankful for, a lot of love went into that! Stay POSITIVE!
How Thankful Are YOU????

Let US Boss Chics KNOW!

Now take this to the Cabinet and File IT! Under Thankful, that is :)

It Takes Two Baby!

I'm sure everyone is aware of the drama between Fantasia, Antwaun Cook and his wife Paula. If not then here's the rundown... Fantasia was found to be in an 11 month relationship with Antwaun during his marriage to Paula. When his wife found out, she ended up filing a lawsuit against Fantasia for Alienation of Affection. Believe it or not, this is actually legal in North Carolina. However, Fantasia says that he never told her that he was married. Bottom line he is obviously the source of the problem, so why is she suing Fantasia??

How many times have we seen this scenario: Guy and Wifey are in a relationship. Guy cheats with Her. Wifey finds out and gets mad at Her but stays with Guy. Or better yet they find out about each other and BOTH continue to date him. Now I can't answer for anyone else, but this equation just doesn't add up to me. Sad thing is, I'm sure all of us have either been one of the people in this situation or know someone that has been. I won't say that everyone who finds out about their other half cheating stays, but I guarantee they get mad at the person he/she is cheating with.

I find this to be more typical with women more than men, I'm sure it's because of our cattiness. I know I know, it's the way we are but we really need to do better. Think about it like this, your man is the person whose loyalty lies with you. She doesn't owe you anything. You put your trust in him, not her. So get mad at him... NOT her. Now if she happens to be a friend or someone you're close to then that's a different story for a different post lol!

Really for all you know, he could be kicking all types of game to her.. "man we don't get down like that no more"... "Nah she be bugging, I had to let her go".... Ooooh how about "Naw we just friends, I'm not really trying to settle down right now" lmao that's for another post too! In a nutshell, stop getting mad at the wrong person! How dumb do we look ready to fight over a man because he been creeping, then 5 whole days later we back with him ready to tie the knot if he asks lol. Quote of the day: "It takes two to tango" #POW!

Like Boss Girls Do!

Well Hello World! Welcome to The Boss Chic Files, dedicated to all of the baddest, flyest, dopest boss chics out there. For those that don't know (get with it if you don't), boss chics are on a whole different level than the rest. They carry themselves like they can't be touched, they whip their hair, they dress impeccably from head to toe, and they have a high self respect for themselves. See every woman THINKS she is a boss chic but we all know that's not even the case.

Now don't get me wrong, I've seen many women who are fierce, dress nice, and yeah they have the look on point but what about the attitude? That's where half the chics that THINK they got it are wrong. Every woman needs to understand that the attitude is really what makes you. It's about being humble with it and giving credit to the next chic instead of tearing her down.!! With that said women also fail to realize that you need to be about your business at all times. If you're on your grind and focused on your come up, you won't have time to wait for someone else's downfall.

I decided to start this blog to bring something different to the table that everyone can relate to. I plan on posting about different things such as relationships, life, friendships, music, fashion, and beauty etc. You can expect tips on fashion and beauty, fashionable looks for less, relationship and life advice, and music posts with new music from different artist. From time to time, I'll get some of my girls to post as well so be on the lookout for more. I'm hoping to expand this one day, but for now I'm just writing for fun. Enjoy, refer a friend, and refrain from any negativity. Thanks!!

Lesson of the Day: If you're good at what you do, don't get mad when she is too... Get better. #POW!
