The Game: Episode 2 Review

Good morning boss chics and bosses ;) I apologize for being a few days behind on my review of this week's episode of The Game, classes have started this week and work has been hectic. However, I will try to maintain this site as best as possible. Anywho, as you all know the second episode our favorite show aired on Tuesday night. According to Necole Bitchie it brought in a whopping 5.9 million viewers this week! This review is a little long, but you can't slack when it comes to this show and I promise it's worth the read =)

This episode eased my heart a little more than the first. Now I enjoyed the first episode but as I previously stated, I hated Kelly's new persona and I hated how Malik was acting. I I think it's safe to say the old Kelly is back! How epic was it to see her and Tasha clowning Girl Melanie about her problems while she gets mad at them for laughing! Seriously their girl talk helps make the show so I'm happy that Tasha and Kelly made up. However, I really think the part about them having to take off their tops to get privacy from her show was a bit extra LOL #justsayin.

High Heels and High Standards



This past weekend, I went out to a local spot in town with one of my best friend and had a ball! But being the person that I am, I notice and give meaning to every little thing lol.. With that being said, there was this guy that came up and asked me for my number. Mind you, I had seen him numerous times with his girlfriend, so I told him just that. You know "Sorry but I see you with your girlfriend all the time and I don't get down like that". So he laughed it off and said his girlfriend had nothing to do with me and he just wanted to take me out and buy me nice things.. PAUSE

Now this scenario can go two ways, I can either accept and allow this man to take me out knowing I could never have all of him because he is already obligated to someone.. OR I can take the classy route and decline. So that's what I did. I let him know I don't condone cheating, and I won't play a part in it. Now most of you know the typical male response goes something like "oh you wasn't all that anyway" lls! However, his response threw me for a loop.. He said "Yo that's what's up, I like you.." And that made me put some things into perspective: Guys have a certain type of respect for women with class and high standards.

But Now... And No Longer

I went to church yesterday ..LATE..because I am a late person.. *Glad some of you Don't KNOW ME!* lol.. But I still heard the end of the word.  By the way, if you want to know where I went let me take the moment to ADVERTISE : Pastor Lance Watson.. www.myspbc.org Creighton Rd, Richmond, Va.  Anyway.. I caught the end of the message, and boy was he on fire.  The message came from a bible story that had these words in it. But now; No Longer.  I don't even know where it came from, that's how important those words were for me.  You can be on the top of the world, and life will throw you a curve ball and knock you right to the bottom. If you are fearful, and weak it can discourage you from EVER believing in a better way. But if you ask, you shall receive.  Trouble will not remain in your life always.  I believe that. If that's you, be willing to say THIS is my STORY.. BUT NOW, NO LONGER will I dwell in unhappiness and adverse circumstances.  Case and Point:

The Deal Breaker

Over the past few weeks a lot of people have come to me saying they have trust issues with their partner which is causing their relationships to deteriorate. It usually starts with one of you cheating; then eventually after breaking up and all the drama that comes with it, you two decide to work it out. However, the victim still feels resentment from their boo cheating on them. Even worse, I've seen situations where one person in the relationship doesn't trust the other because they themselves have been unfaithful.

Whose Man Is it Anyway?

 

 

 

This is an ever going cycle... all different races, cultures, etc. Everyone knows about cattiness and pettiness, hell, I have even participated in it a time or two.. yeaahhhhh back in high school. But you can not, and I will say it over and over again, can not be on your boss girl grind, if one you are arguing over a man; two, if you are using a social networking site to do so; and three, if he is on the social networking site allowing this bullshit to go on.
