The Deal Breaker

Over the past few weeks a lot of people have come to me saying they have trust issues with their partner which is causing their relationships to deteriorate. It usually starts with one of you cheating; then eventually after breaking up and all the drama that comes with it, you two decide to work it out. However, the victim still feels resentment from their boo cheating on them. Even worse, I've seen situations where one person in the relationship doesn't trust the other because they themselves have been unfaithful.

First of all no one should cheat on their boo, but of course we're all human so it is what it is! Just remember the consequences that come with your actions and the trust you would lose if that so called boo finds out. That's one of the main issues that cause problems with trust between a couple. Not only that, it can cause them to have trust issues in future relationships if the present one doesn't work out. To make it even worse, we still have the neurotic fools who just have trust issues because they have nothing better to do than be insecure #gofigure.

The best thing to do is talk it out with your bf/gf and figure out what's causing the stress between you two. You'll probably end up learning more about them than you knew before and solving your problem all at once. If you're really serious about this person, let them know you want to work everything out with them and compromise with them. And if you don't think it's meant to be, shoot em two fingers and chuck the #deuces!

At the end of the day the question remains this.. Why even be with someone if you don't trust them? When you agree to get back with someone you also need to understand that all past issues need to be left in the past. There is no way you can move on in the relationship if you continuously bring up things that happened beforehand. Nor can you try to work something out by constantly having a negative mind state about the situation. A person can never change in your eyes if you don't allow yourself to see them differently.

QOTD: Sometimes you have to change your own lenses for things to become a little more clear.

On that note I'm out! Xoxo
