[New Video] Party- Beyonce' ft J. Cole

Here's the video from Beyonce's 4 album that I've been looking forward to the most! I absolutely love this song! I truly believe that "Party" will soon be a summer time anthem as well as an athem for all parties. I really loved this video and how laid back/chill it was. Beyonce' did her thing once again! I wish Andre 3000 would've been in the visual since he hasn't made an appearance in God knows how long, but I won't be picky lol. J Cole is my husband in my head, so I'll take a visual of him any day! Lol...

I loved seeing Solange and Kelly in the video as well. Solange's style gives me life, and she looked very cute spinning on the turntable in the video! I also loved Bey's many different looks and outfits. It's nice to see her dress a little more casual and laid back, but keep it chic at the same time. My favorite part of the video is probably her funny facial expressions as she's singing along with the words of the song... I also loved her and Kelly's scene, as it's always nice to see those two together again!

Are you feeling the new video for the hit single "Party"?? Leave a comment with your thoughts and let us know whether you're feeling it or not!

Fall Trend: Neutral Trenches

It's that time of the year again to pull out your coats! Normally we would've did this a few weeks ago, but here lately it hasn't been that cold YET. At least not in Virginia it hasn't. There have been a few days where I had to pull out an actual coat, but not to the point where I can't stand it. Well this weekend I'm going out of town, and I saw that the highs for all three days will be in the low 50's O_o... now I REALLY hate cold weather with a passion so I'm not feeling this at all lol.

I figured there are others out there who hate cold weather just as much as I do, so I figured that I would do a post on cute jackets for the season. Neutral trench coats are very popular this season and can be worn with pretty much anything or any color. That's the best thing about these jackets, everyone loves a coat that can make any outfit look good. Below you can find different neutral colored trenches that I found online as well as a few peacoats and other types of coats. There are a few higher priced ones as well as some that are more budget friendly.

[Positive Mondays] Please Don't Shoot Me Down

Throw your shades on for #PositiveMonday!! I hope everyone had a good day today to start off a good week, sorry I'm a little late on the post for today. I usually do these in the mornings between calls while I'm at work, but lately I haven't had much spare time. Anywho, I know I said I was going to do a video for every Positive Monday post to go along with the theme, however this post was something that I really wanted to put out there and I couldn't think of a song to go with it lol.

I was watching Lala's show earlier tonight where she had a conversation with her cousin Dice about her sexuality. Lala was basically telling Dice that she shouldn't worry about what other people would say about her having a girlfriend, she just needs to forget the rest and make herself happy. This inspired my post today because so many people I know, including myself, hinder ourselves from doing what we really want in life because we're afraid of what people will think.

[Items Of The Day] Handbag & Pumps

Colorful Matelasse' Handbag $12.80

The best thing about the fashion world is that everything is so versatile, and because each person has their own style (hopefully) there really is no right or wrong to it. Another good thing about fashion is that you can take one item and wear it so many different ways, it will make it seem like your wardrobe is bigger than what it is. You just have to know how to experiment with all your accessories and clothes and incorporate them into different looks.
On that note, I think the handbag pictured above is just the cutest accessory! You can fix this up and wear it with so many different things, and look fly while doing so. You could easily pair this with a cute black dress, or jeans with a tank top and blazer, or you could pull this off with a bohemian look and wear a boho skirt and crop top with a cute pair of flats. Personally I would wear this bag with a long black flowy skirt (like a maxi skirt), a top with one of the other colors from the bag, a black fedora hat, and a cute pair of flats... that would give a boho/artsy feel to the look overall.

Pictured below is a pair of Jessica Simpson pumps that work perfectly with this bag. The shoes, featuring a 5 inch heel and 1 1/2 inch platform, can be found here for $78.40. I think these pumps go perfectly with the bag, because not only do the cranberry color in both pieces match, but the suede in the shoe give it a fall look as well as the other colors in the bag. Are you feeling these two items together??

Let us know!

Love In A Hopeless Place

Rihanna, Rihanna, Rihanna... she absolutely BROUGHT IT with her new video for "We Found Love"! I know I'm a few days behind on the post, but I can relate to this video so much that I knew my commentary would be long. This video gave me LIFE! Rihanna is doing her thing and paving her own way in the music industry. I love her F it attitude, her realness, her playful spirit, and her beauty! If you ask me, she's a legend in the making!

Anywho, let me hop of the Rihanna stan wagon real quick and focus on the video lol. It was epic! The visual and the storyline that she gave were undeniably real and raw. The depictions of the drugs throughout the video shows how toxic a relationship can be. That high from lust may feel good, but it's definitely not always good for you. Their relationship started off as something that looks sweet, innocent and fun; but soon turns destructive and becomes a downward spiral. As they become more and more addicted to each other (and depictions of drugs increase), the initial high of the relationship wears off. It's like they're trying to get that inital high back, so they can't let go of each other... kind of like an addict continues to use drugs in hopes of getting back that first high.

Throughtout the video, he becomes more and more aggresive, causing their relationship to become tumultuous. But yet, she can't let go. Boy have I been in this situation before! It's like you get in a relationship where everything is going perfectly, then as you get to know that person more and more you start to see them for what they really are and vice versa. No matter how bad things get, sometimes you just can't let go and you deal with the bad in hopes of one day getting the good back. I'm sure everyone has been in this type of relationship before, and it's SO unhealthy. But when you're in that situation you don't see it as such.

Violence Must Be Stopped

I just got the most disturbing news that someone from my hometown city was shot and killed tonight in an act of violence. I didn't know him very well other than from word of mouth and from being at the same places at the same time, but it touched my heart nonetheless. Check this... I live in a city of probably less than 30,000 people where everyone knows everyone. So when a death occurs, it impacts the whole community.

This guy was only 21 years old (younger than me) when he lost his life. This only made me think of my cousin Delvin who was only 19 when he was killed. Mind you that was over ten years ago. What does this tell us? Ten years later, violence is STILL a huge factor in our community, and it's even more sad because it's mostly between blacks only. So what is our problem? There's a question no one has any answers to!

I don't think our young men of today realize that once someone is killed, there are two lives that are really taken. One person will never get their's back, and the other will spend countless years behind bars. Don't we deserve better than this? I think so! There's really no excuse for the violent acts that take place in the world. So what if a dude looked at you funny, or if someone has more than you, or if there's a dispute over money?? Trust me money can't go with you if you're behind bars nor can it go with you to the grave. I think the young men in America today tend to get distracted by the hype they hear in music, see in videos, and hear about in the streets that they forget the importance of life. There's no way in hell you could ever enjoy these luxuries if you're not here to witness them, let alone take someone else's life.

I want to be one of those in my city who takes a stand against violence. I don't want to be wondering which one of my son's friends will get murdered in ten years. I don't want to have to worry about his well being in the streets either. This HAS to stop. I'm reaching out to my readers to get opinions on what can be done to stop the violence? If you have ANY suggestions or are willing to be apart of maybe a team to bring attention to violence in the city, let me know! You can leave a comment here after the post, or email me at dhairston89@gmail.com. If we don't stand for anything, we'll fall for nothing and God knows we are better than that!

[Item of the Day] Jean Jumpsuit

I am in love with this jean jumpsuit from ASOS! I was browsing the net today for the newest arrivals at all my favorite sites, when I came across this. I love the way it fits and accentuates the female body, and the deep neckline and cut out back add a sex appeal to it. Not only is it very sexy, but the flare legs of the jumpsuit and the cuff in the sleeve make it a very playful, flirty piece. I think this would be cute on a casual date, or any casual event you're attending but want to remain chic.

You can find the jumpsuit here at ASOS for $75.00. I would wear this with a pair of brown boots, wedges, or pumps since brown and jean material go well together. The belt does not come with the piece, so I prefer to wear a more light colored shoe than the ones above since the jean material is dark. Below you can see a pair of booties from Aldo's that I paired with this jumpsuit as well as a thin waist belt and purse.

I chose the olive green leather satchel to add a different color to the overall look. We could easily pair this with a tan purse, but then there wouldn't be anything to really make the look pop. In addition to green, you could also pair this with a mustard yellow purse to add some color to it. Those two colors were the first that came to mind that would tie in with the jean material and tan, without making it look a mess.

And just an fyi, I know the prices to some of the shoes and clothes I post aren't really recession friendly lol, but these are just to give you an idea of different pieces you can put together. By all means, you can go out and find similar clothes and shoes for much cheaper, I do it myself. My fashion posts are intended to inspire, not so much to directly influence you to go out and buy it!

[Positive Mondays] Sky Is The Limit

Happy Monday bosses and boss chics! I hope everyone had a good weekend and is in a positive mood this beautiful Monday morning :) It was such a struggle for me to get up this morning! My best friend Tia and I went to Richmond to help out our other best friend Ashley with a fashion show she worked in this weekend. She's interning for a magazine called Quail Belle, and they had a fantasy fashion show this weekend at her school VCU. Our other best friend Portia also came out to help as a dresser/stylist for the show.

We left Saturday morning around 9:30 am and got back last night around 10 pm. That 3 hour drive is NO JOKE in two days, but it was well worth it to be able to support such a deserving friend. I even got a dose of what it's like to be a part of the fashion industry behind the scenes; it was so mind boggling how talented people are in the fashion world! There's no way I could ever work under that pressure and at such a fast pace! It was fun seeing how everything goes down to put shows together and make them work.

[Throwback Thursday] Who Do You Love?

Since Ladies Love Cool James was honored with the BET Hip Hop Lifetime Achievement Award this year, I decided to do a #throwbackthursday post for him! LL's influence on hip hop has been major, as he's not really a rapper but more like an mc. There are a few of his songs that I really love, but there's one in particular that is my absolute favorite. Some of his other hits that I've loved are "All I Have" with JLo, "Around the Way Girl", and "Love You Better".

Not only has he influenced hip hop over the past three decades, but he has also crossed over into the acting world making an impact on that as well. Remember he was on "In The House"?? And lets not forget about his movie roles including Deliver Us From Eva, SWAT, Deep Blue Sea, and Last Holiday just to name a few. LL is THAT dude! Not to mention that he's been with his wife since 1987 (I wasn't even born lol)... so he gets props from me for that alone!

See what my favorite song of his is and watch the video below!

BET The Game Season 5 Sneak Peek

Who else is as hype about the new season of The Game as I am?? I don't know if that's even possible lol! I get so caught up in the show like I really know the characters, and I look forward to the drama the show brings every week. It seems like it's been forever since season 4's finale. I've almost forgotten everything that happened. But don't worry beacuse I have every single episode from season 4 saved on my DVR for eternity LOL #dontjudgeme. I will definitely be going back to watch those before the new season starts in January.

I've really missed doing my weekly blog for The Game, so I am more than ready for it to pick back up. I caught the preview of the show Tuesday night during Reed Between The Lines, and let me just tell you... GET READY FOR THE DRAMA! Yessss lol! From what I saw, Brandy is going to be on this season... maybe dating Jason or working with him?? Hmm we shall see! Also there was a cameo appearance by DeRay Davis who seems to be playing himself. I also noticed that Melanie and Tasha still aren't on speaking terms and Malik and Derwin may still be having differences with their friendship. I don't know how this new quarterback for the Sabers is going to work out, but I guess we'll see! And Jenay, ugh you know how I feel about her. I wonder what it is she's saying she has to tell Derwin.

Also am I the only one who noticed that Kelly is nowhere to be found in the preview? I wonder if she will be on the show at all, or if she's been replaced by someone else. Oh well if she is I hope her and the new Brit Brat both have a new attitude this season! Also I peeped that Tasha is going to be getting her boots knocked by a mystery man! I wonder who it is! I would love to see Rick Fox come back for her!

Are you guys ready for the new season?? Better yet are you ready for the weekly blogs?? Check out the sneak peek of season 5 below and let us know what you think!

BET Hip Hop Awards 2011

Now ya'll know it's only right that I do my commentary for the BET Hip Hop Awards from last night! I was all in the tv lol, I just love music! The hip hop awards are always one of my favorites, it's just something about seeing real men come together for one night, no beef or anything just all sharing a mutual love for the rap game.

First of all, they need to bring Mike Epps back as the host for next year because he was HILARIOUS lol. Can we get another Friday movie or a sequel to All About the Benjamins?? I'll be waiting :) Anywho, Jeezy and Tip were the opening act of the night and I was sooo hype about that! I love me some Tip, and I've been rooting for him through it all. I can't wait to see what he has in store for the game (with his fine self) lol, and Jeezy will ALWAYS be one of the realest to me... I'm just wondering can we get that TM103 some time this year??

There were plenty of memorable moments for the night, but I'll just speak on some of my favorites. Of course everyone mainly watches the hip hop awards for the cyphers. I was like sitting on the edge of my seat each time a cypher came up, ready to see who would be next to kill it. Chris Brown did the damn thing!! He repped VA and made me so proud to be from here. Naturally I'm going to say Meek Mill slayed as well, I'm a huge fan of his anyway. Joe Budden is such an asshole, but in such a sly way that you can't help but love what he has to say. There were plenty of others that I liked, but there's way too many to name lol. I did however pick up on a new artist that I'm about to start keeping up with, Nitty Scott. She could flow her tail off, and you know I have to support the female movement. Watch out Nicki! Lastly I have to shoutout Em on the cypher! What?! Eminem is a crazy lyricist and I mean that both literally and figuratively. I've always been a fan!

Now for the performances where must I start? I loved MMG's performance, again I'm a huge Meek Mill and Wale fan. I do wish they would've put my girl Teedra up there singing a hook or something, so she could get a little shine. Big Sean's performance was pretty dope, he and Roscoe Dash both have an amazing amount of energy when performing. DMX and Swizz Beatz did their thing! I was waiting for Eve to come out for a Ruff Ryders reunion, but beggars can't be choosers lol. I really felt Lupe's performance, the band was hot and his words were beautiful as always. I think he's so underrated, and I hate when people criticize his music because his different without even giving him a listen. And I KNEW from jump that was Erykah up there singing, I could tell by the eyes. SHE SLAYED! Last but not least, we can NOT forget about Heavy D! I swear I didn't think he still had those moves in him lol. He better do it!

To be honest, I don't really care about who gets the actual awards at all, because to me if you're not getting a Grammy, the award is pretty insignificant *shrugs*. I did however love the fact that Busta won the award for "Best 16 Bars" because I've been rocking with him since I was little in the early 90's. I also appreciated LL Cool J's acceptance speech for his honorary award. I'm not even going to tell ya'll what my favorite part of the whole show was (beside the cyphers), you'll have to check the video out below! Also check out a few pics from the show as well. Leave a comment and let us know what you loved the most about the awards!

My Natural Transition Pt 2

Good news! I'm still going relaxer free believe it or not lol, hell I don't even believe it myself. I told ya'll about my experience of going natural last year O_o #epicfail lol. This time around I'm really serious about it, and I hope and pray I don't give in!

Someone asked me a few days ago what the point was in going natural, and I honestly couldn't give them a straight up answer. I sat and thought about the REAL reasons behind me going natural, and I must say it sounds just like something I would say lol. I guess you could say I'm choosing to go natural to "go against the grain". So many people have it in their head that women are supposed to have straight, long and flowing hair and everyone knows that silk wraps are the thing now.

Well I've literally been getting silk wraps since I first started high school, and I'm honestly just tired. I'm tired of fighting with my hair and putting chemicals in it to get it to stay straight, so why do it? I guess you could say I want to be different in every way, and this is a start. Plus I have the type of hair that works with going natural because it's thick and wavy. It's going to be thick regardless of if I get relaxers or not, so why not try something different?

Anyway, I apologize for the rant lol but I wanted to post a few more pics of how I've been working with my hair. Remember I got a rod set a little over a week ago? Well I haven't taken it out yet, I've just been playing that up with different looks. You can check out the pics below, and let me know what you think! Is anyone ready to join me yet?? :)

[Positive Monday] Cherish What You Have While You Have It

*throws shades on*

Happy Monday or should I say #PositiveMonday to be exact! My weekend was great, but it went by way too fast! I suggest we all start and sign a petition stating that the work week begins on Tuesday, leaving Friday-Monday for the weekends. All in favor say "I" lmao!

On a more serious note, I decided to start doing Positive Mondays a little different and try to leave you guys with a positive song for the week after each post. The song is supposed to tie in with the total message of the post as a whole, and hopefully will leave a little inspiration for each week.

[Sneak Peek] Love On Top - Beyonce'

Spotted at one of my favorite sites FreddyO, Beyonce' has leaked a sneak preview for her latest video "Love On Top". This is my absolute favorite song from the album 4. You can just feel the emotions she's singing about in this song, and it makes me so happy when I listen to it.

From what I can see, the video is giving a boy band vibe, and for the first time (in life I think), Beyonce' is rocking sneakers!! I don't think we've ever seen her in a pair of sneakers in all the years she's been famous. I'm loving the concept of the video so far, it looks like this may be my new favorite of hers. Check it out below and let us know what you think!

[New Video] Countdown- Beyonce'

"If you leave, you'll be out of your mind"

So we finally got to see the video for Beyonce's next single from the 4 album... "Countdown". This was one of my favorites off her album from jump, so I was really looking forward to the video. This video caught me completely off guard! I was hoping that she would throw her hubby in the video and they ride out in his coupe, but I knew that was a stretch for me to be wishing for lol.

This is far from my favorite Beyonce' video, but I still love it nonetheless. She is channeling Audrey Hepburn in the video (and looks great while doing so might I add). I love the colors she presented and the fun/flirtatious sense of it as a whole. I swear the thing that makes Beyonce's videos and performances so epic are her facial expressions and choreography. And BOTH were on point in the video. I also loved the scene near the end where she was in dance class with the darker hair. I wish she would keep her hair that color! Check out the video below if you haven't already peeped it, and let us know what you think!

SN: She looks so fresh faced in the very last scene of the video with her ponytail, smile and natural make! Love it! #teamBey

[Look Of The Day] Heidi Klum Style

Call me a lame if you want lol, but at least once a week I visit people.com to vote on the "hit or miss" of celebrities' outfits in their style section LOL #dontjudgeme! It's a habit that I've picked up, and to be honest I think this is one of the reasons that my style is so versatile. I pick up on things that I like from celebrities and try to turn them into my own.

This outfit that Heidi Klum wore for the release of her new perfume stood out to me so much. The look is so simple yet so chic, I just had to do a post on this! I found a dress and a pair of peep toe pumps that will give a similar look. The dress that I picked out is open in the back and ties with a thick ribbon which makes it a little more sexy. The shoes have a bow at the top where the toes are, which I think ties in perfectly with the back of the dress. You don't need much jewelry with this because you want to keep the look simple and classy, so I just added a cute but different pair of earrings to top everything off.

Check out my items below and let me know what you think!

[Throwback Thursday] How's It Going Down

This is hands down one of my favorite hip hop songs of ALL time! Everyone who knows me well should know that I'm Faith Evans' #1 fan (and I'm not exaggerating lol), and I love me some DMX as well. And if you don't believe that I stan for Faith lets just say I've read her book at least four times, and I have every single one of her albums. And no I didn't download her albums, I actually bought them. I went as far as buying her old albums on Amazon.com after realizing that I had lost two of them LOL. Yeah it's bad smh.

For the #ThrowbackThursday video, I just had to post this! This song was just one that will never get old to me. I have it on my itunes as well as on some old mix cd's. DMX is probably one of the best rappers of our time, but because of his criminal record he can't be as big as he should. I think he's back out of jail and supposedly working on new music, we can only hope that he gets it together this time! As for Faith, I haven't heard much about her lately but around this time last year she was supposed to be gearing up for a reality show. I hope that happens so I can take my stanning into overdrive LOL jk :)

Where does this song take you back to? Leave a comment and let us know if this was your jam as much as it was/is mine!

SN: I love when rappers make love songs... We don't get that as much as we used to, but there's still a few around... Wale, J Cole, Lupe, Drake, etc. Can you think of any more?

Only God Can Judge, Who The F Are You?

Let me just make this statement LOUD AND CLEAR lol, I would never do a post on these silly "basketball wives" unless I'm trying to prove a point. EVER. But in the case of how the other women treated Draya on Monday night's episode, I knew I had to go in. First of all who watches Basketball Wives? Honestly, I don't even know why I put myself through the headaches of this show every week but I guess any drama is better than your own lol.

Ever since Draya popped onto the scene for this show, her name has been run into the mud, dirt, and all the way down to the Earth's crust lol. At first I had mixed emotions about Draya because of the police report I heard was filed against her for leaving her son alone at home. But after watching the first few episodes of the show, I started to really like her. Every single chance these women get, they're bashing Draya. It's pathetic if you ask me. They even went as far as googling her name to see what they could pull up on her. Really?

[Item Of The Day] Kardashian Kollection Manhattan Boots

Now ya'll know the Kardashians have become a serious household name, and as much as these girls (except Khloe) annoy me I have to give credit where credit is due! These boss chics have become a brand and it doesn't look like they'll be going anywhere any time soon! I'm sure most of you already knew that they have come out with their own collection for women, called the Kardashian Kollection, which is sold in your local Sears department stores.
I got a chance to look at the collection firsthand the other day in my city, and I must say that I'm impressed! The pieces are very well put together, they're chic, and BOSSY! However, the prices definitely aren't Sears prices LOL. I did find a cute pair of boots on the website that I thought you ladies might like. They're called the "Manhattan Boots" and they're only $69.99. They have a 5 inch heel and 1 inch platform which is right up my alley. You can click the link here to order those. Check them out below and let me know what you think!

SN: On this day October 5, 2011, I confess that I am officially a shoe whore! LOL

[Item of the Day] WE'RE BROKE Pearly Whites

A few months ago I did a post on a fellow boss chic named Norma Jean who has her own line of jewelry, shoes, sunglasses and now clothes in the works. Well I found out that she actually works with two others named Darla and Irv in a group called B.R.O.K.E. They have some really HOT pieces and they're very affordable and fashion forward. These "Pearly White Heels" in the above pic are only $60.00 which is a very good price for a nice pair of pumps. They have a pair of "Pearl Monster Wedges" for $100, but they are currently out of stock. I'll include a pic of those below just in case anyone wants to keep their eyes out for stock on those.

Make sure you hit up their website http://www.were-broke.com/ and browse around to see if you find anything that catches your eye! You can also contact them by email at BROKEfashions@Gmail.com. I've spotted a few pair of earlace that I want for myself, and they're all less than $20! You know you can't beat that. Their sunglasses are also DOPE and so is the rest of the jewelry. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Transitioning to Natural

I think I've told you guys before that I've been calling myself going natural through the transition process. Well I wanted to do a blog to show everyone some of the different ways that I've been wearing my hair, in case there's anyone else out there on this transitional journey like myself. I haven't had a relaxer since the beginning of April so I'm six months into the process.

I started off doing my hair on my own; and since I began my transition when it started getting hot, I didn't wear my hair straight much at all. I got my hair flat ironed once during the summer and it was so long and pretty! But it didn't stand a chance in the heat AT ALL. I had tried going natural last year, but broke down after going to the beach and realizing I couldn't get the comb through my hair LOL! However this time I started watching youtube videos and searching online for everything I would need to keep this going.

I did my own hair throughout the summer, but last week I just couldn't take it anymore! I found someone who doesn't mind the thickness of my hair and she doesn't charge much at all. And when I say I have a massive amount of hair... well that's an understatement lol.
I've learned if you're going natural, the best thing to do is embrace your NATURAL hair instead of trying to keep it straight. Your hair is two different textures when you're transitioning which causes breakage and split ends very easily. You need to find a good deep conditioner and maybe a leave in conditioner as well, to prevent future breakage and keep your locks strong. Instead of continuing to put heat to my hair, I've instead started trying transitional styles such as rods, curls, twist sets, etc. You can check out some of the styles I've tried below, and if you're thinking about going natural without the "big chop" you should check out videos on youtube to help get you started.

Maybe this will push some of you to join me :)

[Positive Monday] Keep Your Head Up

Since I already have a motivational post up for the day, I won't talk you to death in this post for #PositiveMonday. However I did want to leave you guys with a positive song for the day to maybe help you get through the week. This is one song that I listen to all the time whenever I feel like I need an emotional boost. The positivity in this song is so great and so inspiring, and the way Pac delivers the lyrics cannot be duplicated by any other. He was definitely the voice of hip hop back in the 90's, and his messages spoke volumes. Catch the motivational video for the week above, maybe you can add this to your playlist whenever you're having a rough day.... Keep ya head up :)

[Positive Monday] The ReMixed Life Campaign

I have had the wonderful chance of being able to help someone who inspires me to be all that I can, and it would only be right to share that experience with you! Neycha, who is an artist with a beautiful voice, is someone that I'm thankful to have had the chance to know personally. She's a very inspiring person and has a very big heart. She is the type of person who is always looking for what she can do to help someone else, and I don't think I've ever heard her say or do anything negative towards anyone else.

When she asked me to help promote this project for her, I quickly agreed to assist. She has started a campaign called The ReMixed Life to further inspire people in life. She works with adults in the field of personal growth, helping them to get their lives back on track after life altering circumstances. She says "she wants to get away from behind the desk and reach out to people from the stage again" as she once has before.

She plans to put her story into the form of an album as well as a short film. Neycha is asking that everyone donate $21 to help her raise $10,000 in 21 days (which isn't asking for much at all!) The funds are going to be used towards the makings of the album as well as the short film, as she will need studio time, producers, etc. I'm hoping that everyone will become a part of this movement, and even if you can't donate you can help get the word out about the project through social networking.

Make sure you watch the video above, that alone will show just how creative miss Neycha is! That VOICE is amazing and inspiring in itself! I'm anxious to see the finished results of The ReMixed Life campaign, I already know she will deliver! You can view the full page for her campaign here... Are you inspired yet?? #PositiveMondays :)
