[The Game Recap] Game Opening, Game Closing

Yay to The Game bringing me some laughs last night! Since my computer was messed up, I didn’t get to do my post on last week’s episode of The Game but I’m backkk J Last week’s episode was quite boring to me, but this week brought me back to life.

In last night’s episode, Jason and Chardonnay are hitting it off and he takes her to the movies. He asks Chardonnay if she wants popcorn and she tells him that she actually brought her own snacks then starts pulling out Ziploc bags full of candy LOL! I thought Jason was going to call her ghetto and be turned off, but the fool then brought out his own bag too lol. On top of that they start yelling out at the movie together, running everybody else out of the theatre.

This first scene shows that Jason is starting to actually like Chardonnay beyond their unplanned marriage. But when Jason asks Chardonnay if she would like to actually continue dating him, she tells him that she feels like they’re in two different places in life and rejects him. Jason who isn’t used to rejection at all doesn’t know how to handle this, so he calls on his boys for help. Of course in the last episode, Malik and Derwin still weren’t on speaking terms so they initially thought he was trying to get them back talking. However, when he revealed that he was married to a black woman (one who acts like Tasha Mack at that lol), they told him that he has to fight for his woman.

Jason then goes back to talk to Chardonnay only to get shot down yet again. He starts going on date with random black girls to get over her, all to no avail. This makes Jason do the unthinkable in his eyes… he goes to Tasha for advice. Ya’ll know they can’t stand each other from previous seasons lol so I found this to be quite funny. After they got past their differences, Tasha let him in on the “black woman’s plight” telling him that we wait and wait for a good black man to come along and then when he does we push him away. After hearing that Jason went back to see Chardonnay yet again to get his woman, and she finally agreed to date him for another four weeks until their annulment then they would see where things lead. SN: I just LOVE these two together! But I do miss the old Kells L

On another note, for some reason I wasn’t feeling Mel and Derwin’s scenes from this episode. The whole church thing was totally irrelevant to the show to me, but it was pretty funny nonetheless. The couple were getting ready for church on Derwin’s Sunday off when Melanie informed him that she had switched their home church. When they got to church it was in a VIP section, Melanie had texted the pastor and told him not to start without them, and Melanie was more worried about who she could see than the actual service. Mel told Derwin that they pay good money to sit in VIP at church, and after showing him the check book he gave her an ultimatum between going back to their old church or sitting in the back of the new one. Mel decided to stick with the new church but when they went the next Sunday they couldn't enjoy the service because of people asking for money, autographs and pictures from Derwin. Just a MESS!

The main thing I got from Mel and Derwin's story last night is that they are still on two different levels religiously (remember last season?)... I definitely can't wait to see how this plays out as well as Jason's relationship with Chardonnay, Mel and Tasha's friendship, and Malik and Derwin's. Are you still into the show like you used to be? Give us your thoughts below!

SN: Sorry this is so long but I didn't want to skip any details!

XOXO,
LaBellaBoss ♥
