Positive Monday!

Happy Monday bosses and boss chics! I had a really eventful weekend and I'm still recouping from that today. I got to spend time with the people I care about most and did things that I love to do. Also on Saturday my "little sister from another mother" Meyonka graduated from high school. I'm so proud of her! And on top of that, she's getting out of this small city and going to Norfolk State in the fall. Seeing people who are younger than me yet still driven and headstrong makes me happy! Afterwards I went to her cookout and ate everything you could imagine! (If you read my bio on here, one of my hobbies is eating LOL)...

Yesterday I got up for church at the very last minute. I had no plans of going but I just kept getting dressed anyway, hoping I would make it but not really putting emphasis on getting dressed any faster. I am so glad that I did go! The pastor ended up telling me that he saw in my heart everything that I was going through and every burden that I was carrying... And that God wanted him to let me know that everything was about to change for the  best for me. I don't usually talk about my problems to anyone, but when he told me this I felt so much better. I actually have some plans in the works that will hopefully make me and Trey's lives a little better and easier. I felt like yesterday I received confirmation that everything would be ok! On top of that I had a LONG overdue heart to heart conversation with someone that needed to hear everything I said. Even though I know that situation will never change, I feel like I can live with it a little better since I said what was on my mind.

All in all I had a great weekend, even though I didn't pick up my biology book at all when I should have LOL. I hope the weekend pours into the week, and this goes good as well. I"m asking everyone to do something different and go out of your way to make someone else smile this week. You never know what that could do for the other person! Check out my positive song for the day as well below, "I Smile" by Kirk Franklin. This song makes me feel soooo good! During church yesterday, I had already told myself that I was going to play this song as soon as we let out... guess what? It was already on the radio as soon as I got in my car! Crazy right?? If you're ever feeling down throughout the week, play this song and I'm sure it will help!

XOXO,
LaBellaBoss <3
